D.a.T. Blackberry BBQ Sauce
Chef Johnnie G’s incredible recipe for Blackberry BBQ Sauce will take your BBQ Ribs to the next level. But don’t stop there, try it on chicken as well. Dat’s off-the-charts amazing!
Ingredients:
- 4 cups Blackberry Wine
- 1 jar blackberry jelly
- 1 jar pepper jelly
- 3 cups D.a.T. Ketchup
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 tbsp Steen’s Cane Syrup
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 4 tbsp red wine vinegar or apple cider
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. Add wine and bring back to a boil. Reduce to simmer and reduce by 1/2. Serve over your favorite pork or chicken.
